Primary 5 - Home and Online Learning

Monday 22nd June - Week 12

We did it!! Under unprecedented circumstances we have managed to complete a term of online learning and home-schooling. There have certainly been ups and downs along the way (and quite a few tears and meltdowns - teachers, parents and children alike!) but we can all say that we did our very best.

If you can, over the next few weeks, you might find it a good idea to make a scrap book or photo book of pictures and activities of things your child did over lockdown for them to look back on when they are adults, so they have a visible/tangible memory of this historic event.

As always, we have set out this weeks learning below. Feel free to complete the activities on any day that suits you - you could even work super hard at the start of the week and have the end of the week off!!

Remember to keep reading throughout the summer and revising your times tables and mental maths facts, ready for Primary 6.

Primary 5 reports can be collected on Wednesday 24th June between 1pm and 3pm or when you are picking up any reports belonging to siblings. Don't forget to return any reading books, library books or Think and Solve books when you are in - thanks.

Lastly, we would just like to say a very big thank you for your patience and support with us and for all of your hard work at home. We can't wait to get back to school, as we have missed the children immensely and definitely prefer classroom teaching to online learning!!

Have a lovely summer and we look forward to seeing all of our pupils when we start back!

Lots of love,

VD & JL xx
